Metizport reveals new IGL

Scandinavian esports club Metizport has announced a replacement in its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Casper "SHiNE" Wennerberg has become the team's newest member. This was announced on the X social media account.

ShiNE has replaced Anton "Sapec" Palmgren, who has been competing for Metizport since June of this year. The organization has benched Palmgren. ShiNE's previous team was EYEBALLERS – he departed it along with Sapec on June 8, 2024. Both Swedish esports athletes represented EYEBALLERS for about two years.

Metizport's rookie will take over the role of the roster's in-game leader, previously occupied by Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora. The team currently holds 72nd place in HLTV world ranking.

The updated Metizport roster will debut today, October 1, at CCT Season 2 Europe Series 14 – at 19:00 CEST the squad will face G2 Ares.
