Jackinho departs Metizport and goes inactive

Swedish esports club Metizport revealed changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson departed the team's starting five. The announcement was published on the X social media account.

According to the official statement from the organization, Jackinho took a break from competing to take care of his mental health. The announcement did not specify when the player intends to return to the CS2 pro scene.

Mattsson competed for Metizport for a little less than a year – since September of 2023. The 25-year-old esports athlete filled the roles of AWPer and team's in-game leader. Jackinho's average rating after his move to Metizport amounted to 1.01. The squad itself is currently at No. 86 in HLTV ranking.

The club has less than two weeks left to find a replacement for Mattson – from August 21 to 25, the roster will compete at the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 tournament, to which Metizport qualified through online qualifier.

 Metizport are now:

 Adam "adamb" Ångström
 Linus "nilo" Bergman
 Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora
 Anton "Sapec" Palmgren

 Ahmed "abdi" Abdi (coach)
