ICY officially departs AMKAL – player will continue his career in new team

Kazakh esports athlete Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov departed AMKAL. The official announcement published on the club's Telegram channel states that the decision was made by mutual agreement of the parties, and Faiznurov will continue his career in another team.

The club and the player came to a mutual decision on him continuing his career in a new place. We thank Kaisar for the contribution he made to the development of the team, for the tournaments and the victories that we went through together.

Note that on June 22, AMKAL benched ICY and launched investigation into whether there has been any "unfair practices". According to insiders, Kaisar will become a new player of the North American club Cloud9. At the same time, Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov previously reported that Faiznurov's transfer to Cloud9 could be prevented by the Esports Ethics Commission (ESIC).

19-year-old ICY has represented AMKAL since December of last year, while before that he competed for AVANGAR for more than two years. Over the past three months, Faiznurov's average rating amounted to 1.16 (in 75 maps played).

 AMKAL are now:

 Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy
 Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv
 Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko
 Daniil "Sdaim" Tupov

 Svyatoslav "svyat" Dovbakh (coach)
