100 Thieves may return to Counter-Strike

President of American esports club 100 Thieves Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen announced that in the future the organization is seriously considering the possibility of returning to the Counter-Strike pro scene.

Maelk stated this on Reddit after the news about 100 Thieves' inclusion in the Esports World Cup Foundation club support program.

Note that the organizations that are lucky enough to become part of the aforementioned program will be able to count on significant financial support from the Esports World Cup organizers while entering new esports disciplines or returning to old ones.

100 Thieves opened a CS:GO division at the end of 2017, signing the Immortals roster. A month and a half after, the organization left the CS competitive scene, but returned to it in the fall of 2019 with the Renegades squad. A year later, the American club left the discipline again.
