FISSURE Playground 3 moved to Suzhou
Tournament operator FISSURE announced that the upcoming FISSURE Playground 3 championship will be relocated to Suzhou, a metropolis with a population of approximately 12 million.
The 16-player tournament, with a $1.25 million prize pool, previously scheduled for Shenzhen, will instead be held at the Suzhou SND Cultural and Sports Center from September 8-13, 2026.
FISSURE also revealed that this event will be the first in a long-term strategic partnership with GGMEDIA, a Shanghai-based live streaming company that recently organized the BLAST Open Porto 2026 Asian qualifiers.
According to FISSURE's statement, the partners plan to "hold to host Tier 1 tournaments in China on an annual basis, contributing to the growth of the local esports ecosystem and strengthening its connection with the global competitive scene".
