Monte rounds out its roster with academy players

Ukrainian club Monte announced via its social media accounts the promotion of Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen and Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas from the academy to the main team. Previously, the rookies have already debuted for the main roster as stand-ins.

Gizmy and ryu have been representing Monte Gen since the first academy roster was formed back in November of last year. During this period, the team fell short to achieve any significant success.

The club was looking for two players after parting ways with Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Alexander "br0" Bro, who departed the roster at the end of February. In addition to Gizmy and ryu, the team also temporarily competed with Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol.

Monte's nearest matches will play out at ESL Challenger League Season 47. The team will also soon attend a number of LAN tournaments, namely IEM Chengdu 2024, Global Esports Tour Rio de Janeiro 2024 and ESL Pro League Season 19.
