Another academy player joins Monte's main roster

Monte's academy player Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas will compete with the main lineup at ESL Challenger League Season 47. The Ukrainian club announced the addition of another youth team member to the roster via its social media accounts.

The 19-year-old Lithuanian replaced Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, who stood in for Monte in recent matches. The club is looking for a permanent player after parting ways with Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev.

Glušauskas will compete in the main lineup alongside his Monte Gen teammate Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen. The Briton is Monte's full-time sixth man and has been with the team since Alexander "br0" Bro moved to Astralis.

At the moment, it is unknown whether the academy players will participate in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, which kicks off tomorrow, March 6.
