15 Average accuse PGL of negligence and failure to provide proper support

Esports organization 15 Average has accused the tournament operator PGL of not providing adequate support in resolving the situation with the roster. The club announced this via its Twitter account.

Specifically, 15 Average stated that it had been in communication with PGL for a month regarding difficulties with the lineup. However, the organizers refused to provide support in resolving the issue. Representatives of the organization also accused the tournament operator of negligence, suggesting that it could have been caused by a desire to promote a more well-known club to the RMR tournament.

We had hoped that PGL would prioritize supporting teams like ours who rightfully earned their qualification, almost being the first African organization to achieve such a thing.

We rather received exerting efforts to disqualify us and potentially favoring other teams who may not have achieved their qualification through fair means.

We want to make it clear that our team’s exclusion from the event was not due to any fault or negligence on our part but rather a result of PGL’s failure to support us adequately in resolving QWEEL’s situations which was communicated for more that a month.

Note that 15 Average were previously disqualified from PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Asia RMR due to problems with the roster. Consequently, the team's spot at the qualifier went to Twisted Minds.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Asia RMR takes place from February 26 to 28 in Shanghai, China. At the tournament, eight teams are competing for two tickets to the Major.
