Nordan "Rain" Shat, one of the founders of North American club FaZe, shared via his Instagram stories that the organization loses around $700,000 a month on esports.

Also, FaZe loses $700,000 a month on esports. If I read you all the numbers you guys would lose your mind. We've overextended into how many teams now? They also made the guy who makes terrible decisions the President of FaZe now too.

In his post, Shat refers to Zach Katz, who became FaZe's president last year. According to the club's co-founder, the person that came from the music industry makes wrong decisions, which affects the organization's reporting and costs.

At the same time, FaZe does not plan to cut esports expenses. In a recent shareholder letter, management stated that they would continue to support the industry with financial contributions.

FaZe was founded in 2010. The CS:GO roster, which in 2022 secured the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, IEM Katowice 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022 titles, is the club's most successful asset.
