s1mple: "IEM Katowice 2023 will be a telling tournament, while BLAST is just a warm-up"

NAVI's Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev believes that unlike IEM Katowice 2023, the ongoing BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 is not a telling tournament. He expressed his thoughts during a recent live stream on his Twitch channel, where he commented on NAVI's start at the BLAST event.

In Group C, NAVI secured a victory over NIP, after which they lost to G2. Both of these matches the team played with Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi, who joined the roster before the beginning of the season.

How did we lose? Well, we had a new player. <...> We need to practice. It's not all that easy and simple. Against G2, we had a bad start on the first and second maps. We started a comeback on the second, but it wasn't enough. <. ..> No, NAVI didn't get eliminated, we're in the lower bracket. Guys, IEM Katowice 2023 will be a telling tournament, while BLAST is just a warm-up.

NAVI's next match at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 will take place tomorrow, January 25, at 17:00 MSK. The team will face NIP for a spot in the Group C grand final.
