BLAST Premier World Final 2022 EVPs announced

Following the results of BLAST Premier World Final 2022, HLTV.org has compiled a list of exceptionally valuable players (EVP) of the tournament. It included esports athletes who had a good performance but could not quite reach the level of Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov who was awarded the MVP medal.

Based on the criteria that were used to determine the most valuable player, the authors named seven EVPs. They are in the following order:

  1.  Nemanja "⁠huNter-⁠" Kovač (G2)
  2.  Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage (G2)
  3.  Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken (FaZe)
  4.  Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski (Liquid)
  5.  Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis (Liquid)
  6.  Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač (G2)
  7.  Abdul "⁠degster⁠" Gasanov (OG)

HLTV.org's article also mentions two esports athletes who were close to being featured in the list of exceptionally valuable players. These are Robin "ropz" Kool from FaZe and OG's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 with a prize pool of $1 million ended on December 18 with the victory of G2. After this event, the best teams in the world went on a winter break, which will last until the end of January.
