Anubis to be featured in BLAST Premier World Final 2022 map pool

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 will be played on the current CS:GO version, where, among other things, Anubis will be used, BLAST representatives told Dexerto.

In the latest update, CS:GO developers replaced Dust2 with Ancient in the competitive map pool, reduced the M4A1-S' long-range damage and the AWP's magazine size from ten bullets to five.

Earlier, it was revealed that the nearest big tournament, which is BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, will run on the pre-update CS:GO version. Thus, BLAST Premier World Final 2022 will be the first tier-1 event where teams will get to play on Anubis, as well as use the AWP and the M4A1-S with the new characteristics.

BLAST's final tournament of the year will take place on December 14-18 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. The championship will feature NAVI, FaZe, Vitality, Outsiders and four yet to be determined teams. One participant will be known following the results of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, while three other squads will be handed out invitations based on the internal rating of the tournament operator.
