French club Karmine Corp exploring options for expanding into CS:GO

French organization Karmine Corp is interested in expanding its esports division through the creation of a CS:GO roster, the club's president Kamel "Kameto" Kebir told in an interview with 1pv.fr's YouTube channel, excerpts from which were cited by Dexerto.

Kameto stated that the organization is now looking into the CS:GO pro scene in order to make a more considered decision. He did not specify when exactly the management will decide on the expediency of entering CS:GO, but at the same time noted the attractiveness of the home Major, which will take place in May 2023.

If the club does expand to have a CS:GO lineup, a large amount of money will not be spent on it, Kebir assured. The president believes that spending millions of dollars on signing the world's best players would look unnatural for an organization that has not previously competed in Valve's shooter.

Karmine Corp is a professional esports organization created in 2020, which immediately became very popular in France thanks to being associated with famous streamers and musicians. The club currently has League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, TrackMania and Teamfight Tactics teams.
