CPH Flames founder on player development: "No one does it better"

Founder and co-owner of Copenhagen Flames, Steffen Thomsen, has noted his organization's good work regarding the development of esports athletes. On his Twitter account, he compared the club to the football team Ajax, which is also known for its success in building young players.

"Where are they now" of some of our former players: HooXi – G2, jabbi – Heroic, TeSeS – Heroic, nicoodoz – fnatic, roeJ – fnatic, Zyphon – Sprout, refrezh – Sprout, Farlig – Astralis. No one does it better. "Ajax of Esports".

Copenhagen Flames has been around since 2016. The most successful period in the history of the Danish club fell on the last year, during which the team had two successful Major campaigns: 9-11th place at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and 5-8th place at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

Following the last Major, CPH Flames sold all their players and recently announced a new roster that will be led by former ECSTATIC's in-game leader Thomas "birdfromsky" Due-Frederiksen.
