G2 announce jks and HooXi signings

G2 have officially announced the signings of Justin "jks" Savage and Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, who were bought out from Complexity and Copenhagen Flames, respectively. The transfer fees were not disclosed.

In the G2 camp, jks took the place of Audric "JACKZ" Jug, who previously joined HEET, while HooXi replaced Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen as the captain. The Finnish in-game leader was allowed to explore further career opportunities elsewhere.

Savage has been on Complexity's sidelines since last November. However, in February of this year, he had a short stint of action standing in for FaZe at IEM Katowice 2022, which the team subsequently won.

For Nielsen, G2 will be the first top team in his career. The 27-year-old IGL is most famous for his times with Copenhagen Flames, under the banner of which he had successful runs at the last two Majors in Stockholm (9-11th place) and Antwerp (5-8th place).

The newcomers to G2 will make their debut at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, which will be held from August 19 to 28. The European roster will compete in Group B also featuring Liquid and NAVI.

 G2's current lineup is:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
 Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
 Justin "jks" Savage
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen

 Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam (coach)
