poizon enters free agency as he parts ways with fnatic

Bulgarian esports athlete Valentin "poizon" Vasilev has announced via his Twitter account the departure from fnatic. The AWPer will continue to explore new career opportunities as a free agent.

poizon parts ways with fnatic three months after being put to the bench. Back then, the club also removed Alex "ALEX" McMeekin from the starting five and reported on intentions to build a roster around Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson and William "mezii" Merriman.

In March 2021, Vasilev joined fnatic as a stand-in for the qualifiers for the RMR tournament. Subsequently, he was handed a trial, during which he took part in a number of tournaments that ended up being unsuccessful.

poizon added in his tweet that he is now open to offers from other organizations. In the near future, he plans to practice on his own in order to get back in shape.
