Fifflaren steps down as Dignitas VP of Esports

Former pro player Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson has taken to Twitter to announce his departure from Dignitas. For the past two years, the Swede has been the organization's VP of Esports.

Fifflaren joined Dignitas at the beginning of 2020 after retirement from his playing career. As a coach, he led the Swedish roster which included his former NIP teammates Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, Richard "Xizt" Landström, Adam "friberg" Friberg and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg.

Concurrently with fulfilling the coaching duties, Johansson joined the Dignitas management and was engaged in the development of the entire esports division of the organization. Later, he fully moved to a managerial position, while Halvor "vENdetta" Gulestøl took over as head coach of the CS team.

Fifflaren spoke about parting with Dignitas a month and a half after the North American organization had left CS:GO. Over the past two years, the club has not achieved any significant success and eventually disbanded the squad.

In his message, the 34-year-old Swede emphasized that he intends to stay in esports and is now open to offers.
