Team Spirit and Cloud9 pick up first victories in IEM Cologne 2022 group stage 

Team Spirit and Cloud9 have secured victories in the opening matches of Group B at IEM Cologne 2022. The CIS roster defeated Liquid (8:16 on Dust2, 16:9 on Overpass and 22:20 on Ancient), while Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov's squad came out on top of Outsiders (16:6 on Dust2 and 16:12 on Ancient). 

Team Spirit and Cloud9 moved on to the upper bracket semifinals of Group B, which will see the first teams earning spots in the playoffs on July 9. Their next opponents will be known tomorrow, July 8, following the results of the FaZe – 00NATION and Astralis – FURIA matchups.
