sh1ro, yuurih and NiKo were among main IEM Dallas 2022 MVP medal contenders

HLTV.org has named the exceptionally valuable players (EVPs) of IEM Dallas 2022. The eight-man list was topped by Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, Yuri "⁠yuurih⁠" Santos and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

Besides the trio mentioned, the EVP title also went to Russel "⁠Twistzz" Van Dulken, Mathieu "⁠ZywOo" Herbaut, Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov, Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz and Pawel "⁠dycha⁠" Dycha. The HLTV.org authors emphasized that all the EVPs showed a good individual game at the concluded LAN tournament, but in most key indicators could not quite reach the numbers of Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, who became the most valuable player.

The journalists also singled out seven players who were close to receiving the EVP title: Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz, Pavle "Maden" Bošković (all from ENCE), Abay "HObbit" Khasenov (Cloud9), Robin "ropz" Kool (FaZe), Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann and Florian "⁠syrsoN⁠" Rische (both from BIG).

IEM Dallas 2022 with a total prize pool of $250,000 was held from May 30 to June 5. Cloud9 secured the victory in the grand final and lifted the title in front of a live crowd.
