AZR released from EXTREMUM

Australian player Aaron "AZR" Ward has left EXTREMUM and entered free agency, as he wrote on his Twitter.

In his message, the esports athlete noted that his contract with the Russian organization was terminated by agreement of both parties.

AZR has represented EXTREMUM since the beginning of 2021, when the club signed the core of the former 100 Thieves roster. After 10 months, without having achieved any significant success, all the players were put on the bench. The organization made a decision to part with the lineup after the failure at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 qualifiers.

Ward emphasized that he intends to continue his career on the professional CS:GO scene. He hopes to find a team to become an in-game leader to "reach new heights".
