Valve fixes CS:GO freezes that pro players complained about

On the night of April 14, Valve released a minor CS:GO update, in which they fixed the problem with the game freezing. Earlier, many esports athletes publicly spoke about the problem.

In their post, the developers noted that they added support for the "-nojoy" startup parameter to address the issue. This should improve Steam Input performance and get rid of freezes.

Previously, such well-known players as Alexandr "s1mple" Kostyliev from NAVI and Finn "karrigan" Andersen from FaZe drew attention to this problem with CS:GO. Together with a number of other esports athlete, they complained about the constant game freezes.

Some players emphasized that the freezes appeared the day before the start of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Legends Stage, which made it difficult to practice normally. The Legends Stage of the ongoing Major will kick off today, May 14, at 13:00 MSK.
