Jamppi intends to return to CS:GO from Valorant in the fall of 2022

Finnish esports athlete Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen during a live stream on his Twitch channel announced his intention to return to the professional CS:GO scene from Valorant. According to the Finnish player, this will happen no earlier than October this year.

Olkkonen did not explain the reasons for this decision. As for the return date announced, it is likely related to the time of the end of the Valorant season, which will conclude with the world championship in September.

Jamppi moved to Valorant in January 2021, a month later joining Liquid, which he represent to this day. During this time, his best achievement in the Riot's shooter was the top 4 at Valorant Champions 2021, the analogue of the Major in CS:GO.

On the CS competitive scene, the Finnish player is best known for his period playing for ENCE at the end of 2020. The Finnish organization then parted ways with Olkkonen due to the VAC ban, which did not allow the player to take part in the events under Valve's patronage. The Finn repeatedly tried to challenge the disqualification in court, but his claims were rejected.
