peacemaker: I will have to provide ESIC with strong evidence of my innocence

Imperial’s coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu has for the first time publicly commented on the Esports Integrity Commission's (ESIC) charges against him regarding the CS:GO bug abuse. In particular, the Brazilian specialist said that he faces a long-term ban, so he will take the collection of evidence of his innocence with the utmost responsibility.

And I have to respect this moment and this ESIC thing, because they sent me a letter with the intention to ban me for much longer than just the Major itself, so I have to present a proper defense, I am already taking care of it, people will testify for me, gathering all kinds of informations, obviously based on the video and on what happened.

I promise all of you that, in a very close future and as soon as I am able to collect everything and share with ESIC first, respecting their communication with me, because either way, I cannot go public right now and talk to all of you to defend myself, before talking with them, because that would hurt my attempt to decrease the lenght of the ban or maybe the opportunity not to receive any severe punishment.

ESIC accuses peacemaker of abusing a bug allowing to fly around the map and observe the positions of opponents. For this bug variant, Tadeu can be banned for up to 2 years.

The coach of 9z Rafael "zakk" Fernandez and Sergey "hally" Shavaev from Team Spirit were also preliminary punished by being suspended from PGL Major Antwerp 2022. A total of 97 coaches appear in the new ESIC investigation.
