Report: Evil Geniuses fails to agree on valde and will try to sign RUSH

Negotiations between Evil Geniuses and OG on the transfer of  Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså have ended unsuccessfully, Rush B Media reports. According to the source, the North American club will now target its efforts to sign former player of Complexity William "RUSH" Wierzba.

The journalists found out that the reason for the unsuccessful completion of the negotiations was the desire of OG's in-game leader Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, who will join the team soon, to work together with the Danish rifler. Another reason for the European club's refusal is the deadline for registering for the next BLAST tournament, which comes on January 7th. In case of valde's departure, it would be difficult for OG to find a good replacement in such a short time.

RUSH has been a free agent since September 2021, when he parted ways with Complexity. He was reportedly set to pursue a career in Extra Salt, where, together with experienced Damian "daps" Steele, he could become the core of a new North American lineup.

In the renewed Evil Geniuses roster, RUSH is expected to reunite with former Cloud9 partners Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who are to be announced soon. The American trio will play together with Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, who stayed in EG.

If Rush B Media's information is confirmed, the 2022 Evil Geniuses edition will look as follows:

 Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte
 Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
 Jake "Stewie2K" Yip
 Timothy "autimatic" Ta
 William "RUSH" Wierzba
