ESL announces two LAN tournaments for 2022

Tournament operator ESL has two more LAN events scheduled for next year. IEM Dallas 2022 will take place on June 4-5, while one of the new ESL Challenger series competition, which replaces DreamHack Open, will take place on September 2-4 in Melbourne, the capital of Australia.

According to a press release, the championship in Dallas will be the first big CS:GO championship in North America since the outbreak of crisis on the regional scene caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Before this, several less prestigious tournaments will also be held in the United States, including ESL Challenger in Anaheim, scheduled for February.

The ESL Challenger series calendar for 2022 includes two more LAN events: Valencia (Spain) will host the competition of the second echelon teams on July 1-3, Rotterdam (Netherlands) – October 14-19.
