Jackinho becomes free agent

fnatic part ways with Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson, the organization announced on Twitter. The Swedish AWPer, who had been benched since October 9 this year, left the organization as a free agent.

Jackinho joined fnatic in January 2021 when he replaced Robin "flusha" Rönnquist. Together with the 22-year-old Swede, the team's best achievement was the second place at cs_summit 7.

After the failure at the European RMR event IEM Fall 2021, which was preceded by a number of unsuccessful performances at other tournaments, fnatic decided to bench Ström Mattsson. Subsequently, the AWPer role was taken over by Owen "smooya" Butterfield, signed on trial.

Jackinho thanked fnatic on his Twitter for the chance to show himself at the tier-1 level and also mentioned that he is now searching for a new project where he could use all the experience gained.
