AVANGAR make CS:GO return with new roster

AVANGAR have announced a new roster on their Twitter. Thus, the Kazakh club returned to the competitive CS:GO scene a year and a half after leaving.

Vladislav "FinigaN" Usov, who previously represented Espada, is set to be the team’s in-game leader. Together with the Russian, the lineup will feature Aydos "kade0" Khairzhan, who had already played for AVANGAR, as well as Aliaksei "znx" Zlatkouski, Gleb "s1natoRRR" Olchedaevsky and Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov.

Back in May this year, insider Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov announced that the new AVANGAR roster had been completed. Then, he also included Temirlan "TNDKingg" Nurmagamet as a potential member of the team, but eventually the player did not appear in the official announcement.

The Kazakh organization was competing on the professional CS:GO scene from 2017 to 2020. During this time, its best achievements were the grand final of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 and the 1st place at BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019. At the end of 2019, the club sold its roster to Virtus.pro and subsequently returned with five young players to then fall apart in the spring of 2020.
