Pimp: If Valve do not publish player stickers, it will be a massive blow to the ecosystem for teams

Analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche commented on rumors about Valve's possible refusal to add signature stickers of the teams’ players participating in PGL Major Stockholm 2021. He tweeted that he did not have reliable information on this matter, but doubted that the company would make such a move as it will severely damage the professional CS:GO scene.

It should be reminded that on October 11, the general manager of Complexity Graham Pitt expressed concern that Valve were yet to request a digital copy of the signatures from the members of the squads who qualified for the major, which is to kick off in two weeks. According to him, usually this process takes place way before the start of the tournament.

It is noteworthy that earlier the coach of Entropiq Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov assured that his players uploaded their signatures immediately after qualifying for PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and are currently waiting for them to be confirmed and added to the game. In his opinion, someone created a "hype-train", which esports athletes jokingly decided to abet.
