NaToSaphiX to replace k0nfig in Complexity at ESL Pro League Season 14

Complexity player Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke will be unable to participate in the fourteenth season of the ESL Pro League due to an accidental hand injury. The organization shared this information on Twitter without clarifying what kind of injury the esports athlete has.

According to HLTV.org, Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen, who does not play for any team at the moment, will temporarily replace his Dane compatriot.

NaToSaphiX has already shown up in Complexity as a stand-in. Last fall, he temporarily joined the European squad following the leave of Owen "oBo" Schlatter. Together with the Dane, the roster finished 5-6th in the European divisions of ESL Pro League Season 12 and IEM New York 2020.

It remains unknown whether k0nfig will be able to get back to the team during the tournament. He is now recovering from the injury in Denmark, while the team is at the bootcamp in Serbia to play their debut game on August 21 after the summer break.

The first team the European squad will face at ESL Pro League S14 is forZe. Besides, the team will play against G2, OG, Virtus.pro, and Sinners in Group B.
