F_1N returns to Gambit's head coach position after his ESIC ban expired

Russian specialist Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov was reinstated as Gambit coach after he served his disqualification for using a coaching bug. Information about this was confirmed by representatives of the organization to the portal Dexerto.

In September 2020, Kochugov was banned by the Esports Integrity Commission for 8.75 months. The ESIC proved the coach's use of the coaching mode bug on six occasions between 2017 and 2020.

Gambit suspended F_1N from the roster but subsequently moved him to a team analyst position. His place as a mentor was taken by the club's CEO Konstantin "groove" Pikiner.

Despite the expiration of the ESIC ban, Kochugov still remains banned from Valve tournaments. For this reason, groove will lead Gambit in the last RMR tournament for the CIS in 2021 and the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 if the team gets a spot in the prestigious event.
