ESEA unbans three players for suspicion in matchfixing

Competetive platform ESEA has cancelled the temporary ban of North American eSports athletes Alex "vek" Voynov (pictured), David "J0LZ" Jolin and Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly, who have been suspended for suspected matchfixing. Platform representatives confirmed the expiration of the ban to HLTV.org reporters.

ESEA removed the ban on the recommendation of the Equity Commission for Cybersports (ESIC), which initially called for the suspension of three players during the investigation. It is worth noting, however, that the ESIC has not published the results of its own investigations.

Vek, J0LZ and nosraC were temporarily banned from ESEA after the publication of their negotiations about matchfixing. Sebastian "retchy" Tropiano and Kevin "4pack" Przepasniak also participated in the discussion and their blocking remains in effect until August 1.
