Gambit & Complexity won their starting matches at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2021

Gambit and Complexity teams got off to a winning start at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2021 tournament. In their opening game of the event, the squad from the CIS was stronger than Evil Geniuses (22:20 on Inferno and 16:11 on Dust2), and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer's squad has beaten NIP in the following (16:10 on Mirage and 16:9 on Ancient).

“It doesn’t matter which map we play against any team, we just talk to our coach and analyst and decide which map will be better," Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov said after the series. "Sometimes it’s because we feel very strong on some map, but I can’t say what it was this time."

On June 17 at 16:30 Moscow time Gambit will play Complexity in the second round of the upper net, while Evil Geniuses and NIP will meet in the elimination match tomorrow, June 16 at 18:30 CET.

"It's hard to say we're confident versus Gambit since they're the best team in the world right now, but I do think we match up decently well against them," William "RUSH" Wierzba said in the post-match interview. "It won't be easy by any means, but we're not scared of them at all."
