jemi benched in HAVU

Finnish HAVU has removed Jemi "jemi" Mäkinen from the active lineup in CS:GO. According to a press release on the club's official website, the decision to change the roster was made by the management, who thus responded to a long series of unsuccessful performances.

"For the past two months our results haven’t been what we’ve wanted. It’s been a real struggle to find the form we had early this year and now it’s time to search for other solutions. With HAVU’s management, we have decided to bench Jemi for the time being to evaluate our options. I will be standing in for the upcoming matches before the player break."
- Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola, Head Coach of HAVU

The place vacated in the starting five will temporarily be taken by coach Taneli "disturbed" Vikkola. He will serve as a stand-in until the organization finds a suitable replacement for jemi.

Mäkinen joined HAVU in early December 2020. Since then, the team's best results have been wins at tournaments such as Snow Sweet Snow #2 and Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 1, moving up to No. 14 in the HLTV.org rankings.

HAVU's closest matches will be the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 1. The team will face compatriots ENCE tomorrow, June 14.
