MIBR are the champions of South American RMR CBCS Elite League Season 1

The Brazilian team MIBR became the champion of the CBCS Elite League Season 1 tournament. The event featured 16 strongest representatives of the South American region playing for RMR points. Gustavo "yel" Knittel's team defeated the Sharks 2-1 on maps in the grand final of the event.

MIBR finished the group stage, which was played in the Swiss system, with a single loss to the Sharks. On their way to the playoffs finals, the future champion beat Havan Liberty and Bravos.

Playoff stage results:

CBCS Elite League Season 1 took place between April 22 and May 17. Competitors competed for ~$19 000 and 10,000 RMR points.

* Isurus, Jaguares, Keyd, DETONA and Bears have withdrawn from the tournament due to player accusations of having a VAC ban on one of their players' accounts.
