BIG is the only top team without subs since the online era started

German BIG is the only team of the top 30 of the HLTV.org world rankings from March 2020, when the last major CS:GO LAN tournament took place, which did not make any changes to the roster. This fact has been pointed out by one of the reddit users.

At least one substitution each has been made by the entire top ten of former world stage leaders since all the stage has been forced to play online: Astralis, NAVI, mousesports, fnatic, G2, Liquid, Evil Geniuses, Vitality, and EXTREMUM (ex-100 Thieves). MAD Lions (11th as of March 1, 2020), Gen.G (17th), ENCE (20th), MIBR (22nd) and North (26th) have disbanded already.

The last LAN tournament of the tier-1 level was IEM Katowice 2020, where NAVI won. The championship took place without fans due to a drastic deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Poland and the world.

The closest international competition in LAN format, but still without spectators at the venue, will be IEM Cologne 2021. The prestigious championship will take place from July 6 to 18 in a specially built studio in Cologne.
