Media: Edward returns to CS:GO scene

Counter-Strike legend and former NAVI player Ioann "Edward" Sukharev intends to return to the professional CS:GO scene and is currently recruiting players for his team. This was revealed to the portal ESTNN.

According to journalists, the future team will perform under the tag selectah, and Edward will take on the duties of an in-game leader. However, the possible lineup of his new team is not yet confirmed.

Last July Sukharev already tried to form his roster, but abandoned the project after two months. Sergey "smike" Sklyarenko, Roman "tappa" Medvedev, Savely "jmqa" Bragin, Danil "Raven" Bikvaidze and Justinas "jL" Lekavicius were teammates of the experienced Ukrainian in the original lineup, and later the more experienced Tomas "oskar" Šťastný and Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun joined selectah.

Edward has been without a professional team since July 2020, when his contract with NAVI expired. He also represented Astana Dragons and Winstrike in CS:GO.
