Extra Salt breeze past PaiN to DreamHack Open March 2021 championship title

The winner of the DreamHack Open March 2021 in the North American region are Extra Salt, who have given up only a single map in the course of the event. Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's team defeated paiN dry in the best of five grandfinal - 16-12 on Inferno, 16-13 on Train, and 16-14 on Mirage. This is a well-deserved win for the North American organization whose lineup has now started packing for their next European event - FunSpark ULTI.

Both finalists advanced to the playoffs from Group B. Extra Salt proved their superiority over High Coast in the semifinal stage, while paiN sensationally defeated the sole regional favorite, Liquid.
