neL: Vitality will attend ESL Pro League Season 13 without Nivera

Vitality have decided to return to a five-player roster model for ESL Pro League Season 13 and will play the tournament without young talent Бельгия, Belgium, BE Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom. This has been reported by insider Guillaume "neL" Rathier. They've been the first team that was not forced to use the 6th player but had done it tactically, back on October 29, 2020.  Бельгия, Belgium, BE Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom took place of Франция, France, FR Kevin "misutaaa" Rabier in the BO3 against Complexity in BLAST Premier Fall 2020 on Dust2. This historical decision has brought the team some titles as well as helped to improve their standings in the HLTV.org rankings at the end of last year.

The reason behind this decision lays on the surface as Valve have decided to act against any innovation and the substitution rule remaining invalid for the Majors. Also, the teams making changes during RMR tournaments would lose 20% of their points after each new substitution. This has caused all CS:GO top teams with 6 player lineups, such as NAVI, Astralis, Vitality to stick to their core players for Valve's events and qualifiers.

Vitality will attend EPL with:

  • Франция, France, FR Dan "apEX" Madesclaire
  • Франция, France, FR Cédric "RpK" Guipouy
  • Франция, France, FR Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut
  • Франция, France, FR Richard "shox" Papillon
  • Франция, France, FR Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier
  • Франция, France, FR Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam (coach)
  • Бельгия, Belgium, BE Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom (inactive)
