CSPPA WORLD RANKING Updated

Counter-Strike Professional Players Association (CSPPA) has updated its ranking of the world's best teams, following the results of IEM Katowice 2021. Three CIS lineups, including Virtus.pro, Gambit, and Team Spirit, who have shown solid performance at the event, entered the top 10 of this ranking for the first time in their history by knocking down Heroic, OG and G2.

Astralis has taken the lead, displacing former leaders Vitality by two lines at once. Another CIS organization Natus Vincere, in turn, has improved its position and took the second spot, which was previously occupied with Brazilian FURIA.

CSPPA introduced its own version of the world ranking last fall. The ranking of teams takes performance stability of and the mental health of the players in accord, as the authors declared. The ranking only takes the credit of the results achieved in the last 9 month, while the lineups consisting of six or more players receive an additional advantage.
