Media: Envy are considering to sign ex-MIBR

The American organization Envy is in talks with coach Rafael "cogu" Camargo about signing his project, which is based on former MIBR players. This is reported by Fraglider, citing its own sources.

According to published information, the parties are at the stage of discussing contracts. It is noteworthy that soccer club Flamengo was also interested in the services of the Brazilian squad, but eventually turned down the deal because of the high financial costs of the team.

Envy announced its departure from CS:GO in early January of this year, putting the entire team up for transfer. The organization's owner and CEO Mike "hastr0" Rufail later stated that he was ready to return to the Valve shooter scene as early as 2021, if the right opportunity arose.

MIBR lost its roster during the winter offseason. The organization decided not to sign three standers (LUCAS1, leo_drk, vsm) and coach (cogu), who played in the last two tournaments in 2020, which caused discontent among current players Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe and Alencar "trk" Rossato, who soon announced their intention to leave the team and join forces with former teammates.
