larsen & shokz joined Movistar Riders; loWel benched

The Spanish organization Movistar Riders announced the signing of contracts with Sebastian "larsen" Larson and Christian "shokz" Jacobson. They replaced Christian "loWel" Garcia, who was moved to the reserve, and Rajon "EasTor" Linato, who has been on the bench since July 28.

The 23-year-old Danish sniper larsen has previously played for Sigma in several local tournaments. The Estonian shokz moved to Movistar Riders from SMASH, with whom he reached the Home Sweet Home Cup final twice.

EasTor and loWel remain on contract at Movistar Riders. The organization has allowed them to find a new team on their own.

The new Movistar Riders roaster will play the upcoming matches as part of the FunSpark ULTI 2020 qualification, where it will play in the same group with Dignitas, Giants, Secret, Syman, forZe, Nordavind and Endpoint. The qualifying tournament will be held from 8 to 10 August. The Chinese LAN final is scheduled for December 1-6, but is likely to be postponed to 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
