Valve is not transferring CS:GO to Source Engine 2

Insider and author of Valve News Network's YouTube channel Tyler McVicker said on his stream that there are no activities on the CS:GO transition to Source 2 at the moment. One of the possible reasons is Valve's problems with adapting user-generated content to the new engine.

Earlier McVicker said that Valve's shooter engine will be updated by the end of May, but he doesn't exclude the possibility of postponing the event to a later date. In early June, another well-known Nors3 dataminer suggested that Source 2 release for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will not take place until the end of 2020.
