JUGi replaced gla1ve in starting line-up of Astralis

Jacob "JUGi" Hansen has been transferred to the starting lineup of Astralis as team captain Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander is on three-month vacation for medical reasons. This has reported on the official website of the Danish club.

According to the permanent leader of Astralis, he has long been showing symptoms of stress. In the coming months, he'll take care of his health.

Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander comments:

- For a long period of time, I have been experiencing symptoms of stress and burnout. Astralis Group and everyone on the team have tried a lot of different things in order to help, but after talking with Kasper Hvidt and my own doctor, we have concluded that unfortunately, I will have to go on sick leave.

- In the next three months I will be focusing on getting better and recovering 100%, and then afterward returning as an active part of Astralis. I want to say a huge thank you to my teammates and the organization for being so understanding towards my situation and for being so helpful and trying to find a solution.

The Astralis statement does not say which of the current players will take over the captain's duties after the departure. Rumor has it that Emil "Magisk" Reif played the role of in-game leader in recent training matches of the Danish grand.

A few days earlier, Astralis became the champions of ESL One: Road to Rio and led the European RMR rating. The debut of the updated line-up will take place today, May 19, as the team will take part in the online championship DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, which can be followed on our website at the link.
