CS:GO Update Release Notes for 3/27/2020

Valve has released an update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which fixes the game's hang-ups among NVIDIA graphics card users and solves a rare problem with end-of-match crashes. On the night of March 27, the same update has been added as a beta version of the client called nvidia_stutter_fix.

[ MISC ]
-Refactored low level shaders to fix stuttering on NVIDIA hardware when first rendering previously unseen content.
-Speculative fix for rare crash at the end of matches.

CS:GO developer John McDonald in a discussion at the game forum Reddit specified that Valve was forced to pre-release the beta patch, because because of the coronavirus pandemic, all employees work from home, where there are no appropriate conditions for testing this solution.

Players in CS:GO started complaining about stutters after one of the updates in early March. As a temporary solution, the developers suggested closing all applications with hardware acceleration function during the game.
