Sources: felps Set to Join Team One on Loan

Brazilian Counter-Strike player João "felps" Vasconcellos is expected to join the Team One organization on loan from the Immortals organization, according to multiple sources close to the situation. Felps is still under contract from his second stint with Made in Brazil earlier in the year, before going inactive in June.

At this time, it is unclear which player felps will replace on Team One's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. Team One announced two weeks ago that Bruno "bit" Lima and Victor "bld" Junqueira parted ways with the organization. The moves would mean one more player will be necessary to fill out the new roster.

The loan to Team One will be the second loan since June for felps, who played for the Luminosity Gaming organization for three months until early September. While with Luminosity, the lineup failed to qualify for the StarLadder Berlin Major after a loss to Furia in the Minor. They also failed to qualify for DreamHack Masters Malmö after a loss to Stay Frosty early on.

Felps is most known for his first stint with the now MIBR core, who won IEM Sydney 2017, ECS Season 3 and ESL One: Cologne 2017 with him on the lineup under SK Gaming. The team's best finish with him in the lineup for a second time in 2019 was a semi-final placing at the IEM Katowice Major.

In-between those performances, felps spent time on multiple lineups with Não Tem Como, NoTag and INTZ eSports.
