fnatic CEO is surprised by BLAST's decision

Sam Matthews, fnatic CEO, tweeted he was disappointed with BLAST's decision not to invite his team to Premier 2020. The head of the club was supported by CS:GO coach Andreas "Samuelsson" Samuelsson, adding that the reason announced by BLAST representative Nicholas Estrup is a manifestation of rudeness towards such a respected organization as fnatic.

On December 14, BLAST presented twelve teams that will participate as partners in the Premier 2020 tournament series. The community was outraged by the absence of fnatic and mousesports on the list of participants, while OG and Complexity were invited with line-ups without experience.

BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020 will kick off on 31 January at 3 Mills Studios in London, the UK capital. The season will include three tournaments: the first will involve twelve teams divided into three groups - the six strongest, two from each group, will go directly to the finals, while the rest will get a second chance at the Showdown tournament, where they will fight four more invited contenders for the final slots in the Premier Final. The total prize pool for the Spring Series will be $1,375,000.
