Gambit Esports Invited to DreamHack Open Tours

Gambit Esports is joining Team EnVyUs, Torqued, and AGO Esports for DreamHack Open Tours. Gambit will be the second team invited to the event, alongside Team EnVyUs. Torqued and AGO Esports are the North American and European qualifiers respectively.

Gambit Esports recently participated in the Masters: Season 1, getting knocked out in the quarterfinals by GODSENT. It also competed in DreamHack Masters Marseille, getting to the semifinals before being eliminated by Natus Vincere. Gambit Esports was also recently acquired by Russian telecom giant Mobile Telecom for a reported $5 million.

The DreamHack Open Tours will be held in Tours France in the Parc des Expositions, where the teams will be competition for a $100,000 prize pool. It is the the first event of the DreamHack Open Circuit, as the Leipzig event conflicted with ESL Majors. A total of eight teams will be participating in the tournament set to run from May 19-21.
