HLTV: Luminocity may sign Monte's core

According to unofficial reports, the management of North American esports club Luminocity is in talks to sign the core of Monte's Counter-Strike 2 squaf. HLTV.org reports this, citing its own sources.

Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, Oscar "AZUWU" Bell, and Aurélien "afro" Drapier may join Luminocity. All three are on expiring contracts with Monte; the Ukrainian club offered them extensions, but they declined.

Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, who joined Monte in February of this year, is also reportedly a potential part of the deal. Meanwhile, the team's fifth player, Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen, is in talks with another organization.

Rumors suggest that former Legacy Counter-Strike 2 IGL Lucas "lux" Meneghini may lead the Canadian club's new squad. Notably, Meneghini has been on Legacy's bench since February of this year.

Monte currently sits 18th in Valve's official ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad placed 12th-14th at IEM Cologne Major 2026.
