Imperial left without coach
Esports organization Imperial has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes has departed the team.
The 34-year-old Brazilian esports athlete has been with Imperial for three and a half years, since January 2023. His replacement is still unknown. zakk himself commented on his departure from the squad:
It was a very important stage in my career, marked by many learnings, challenges, and special moments. The constant roster changes made the journey very exhausting, but I thank the dedication of everyone who went through it with me.
Currently, Imperial is 81st in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The roster failed to qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026.
