messioso and seang@res to build 100 Thieves' Counter-Strike 2 roster

North American esports organization 100 Thieves announced that Graham "messioso" Pitt will take over as Head of CS Operations, while Sean "seang@res" Gares will be Head of FPS. 100 Thieves revealed that messioso and seang@res will lead the development of the 100 Thieves' Counter-Strike 2 program and roster.

Notably, was a manager at Complexity for the past several years, while seang@res retired from pro Counter-Strike in 2019.

messioso spoke about the club's plans for assembling a CS2 roster:

We want to get the best possible players that suit us. The one thing I don't want to do is buy a core, and then find out we need to replace two players within the first two months.

You can get to a certain level with young kids, but you need at least one experienced veteran. I would like two. Young players need guidance and leadership from the older experienced players, while the older ones get some drive to grind.

Note that yesterday 100 Thieves officially announced its return to the pro Counter-Strike scene after over five years away from the discipline.

Earlier, insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov reported via his personal Telegram channel that 100 Thieves had allegedly already signed former FaZe player Håvard "rain" Nygaard.
